Last January I spent the weekend at the Kangaroo Bush Retreat for my friend’s Sian & Ant’s wedding (pictured above). It was my first time at the venue and I fell in love from the moment we drove in. We were lucky to be staying for the whole weekend so we drove in on the Friday night as the sun was setting over the mountain tops and we got a glimpse of the beautiful sunset. We were surrounded by the bush in every direction and I remember thinking how perfect the venue was as the place that Sian & Ant were going to say their “I do’s”.

As the celebrant, they were great when it came to assistance and logistics and although they had to monitor the noise during the reception to ensure it didn’t exceed the limit, they left you free to relax and savour every moment.
